QUB Foundation
Great Hall

Ulster Garden Villages Ltd. played a part in supporting the refurbishment of the Great Hall at Queens University Belfast.

 
 

     

Hearth

An interest-free loan from Ulster Garden Villages provided essential working capital to enable Hearth Revolving Fund to restore this group of 18th century houses in Armagh from dereliction.

They were sold on completion in 1992 and provided a stimulus for further regeneration in the city.

 

 
 

     

Belmont Tower
(Previously Belmont Primary School
Established 1890)

A Grade B listed landmark building in East Belfast, was extensively restored and redesigned with considerable financial assistance from Ulster Garden Villages Ltd.

Croft Community

Substantial financial contributions were granted to the Croft Community by Ulster Garden Villages Ltd.

The Croft Community provide homes for people with learning disabilities with 28 Residential, 3 Respite and 9 Supported Living Places.

Youth Hostel Association

The Bridges is a purpose built Youth Hostel in Fermanagh which opened in 2002.

The Scout Association

Ulster Waterways Group

Ulster Garden Villages Ltd. has put up £1,000,000 of challenge funding to start the Lagan navigation restoration.

 
 

     
Rams Island
(Lough Neagh)

Considerable financial assistance from Ulster Garden Villages Ltd. enabled the commencement of the restoration and care for the natural and built heritage of Rams Island through conservation work, including predator and invasive species control and landmark tree maintenance.
